NEEWER FL10 vs FL20 Photography Lights

These are flashlight-shaped creator lights rather than normal torches. They can throw coloured light, sharp patterns and a focused beam across a background without a full studio setup.

THE 30-SECOND VERSION

The quick verdict.

Both are portable effect lights with four colours, zoomable beams and 20 gobos. The FL20 is not massively bigger, but its 20W output makes more sense for product shots and video work.

Which one makes more sense

The FL10 works well when you want a portable light for backgrounds, small scenes and quick effects. It is already bright enough to create coloured shapes behind a subject without taking over the room.

The FL20 is not dramatically larger, but it is noticeably brighter. For product shots, video backgrounds or anywhere the light needs to compete with other lighting, I would go for the FL20.

The shared experience

Both give you the same basic creative toolkit: four LED colours, adjustable brightness, a push-pull zoom and 20 patterned gobos. The controls are simple and the flashlight shape makes aiming the beam much easier than moving a panel light.
